DIY Bathroom Renovation

Bathroom Remodel

Rachael Jones is a blogger for DIYMother, where women aren’t afraid to use power tools in a dress.

When deciding to renovate your bathroom, part of the dilemma is coordinating the décor and deciding if you should replace your outdated sink with a double or single bathroom vanity. Both types have their own positives, but adding the right vanity could depend on the number of people you have living in your home and how much room you have in your bathroom. Aside from this, going with new bathroom tiles, new lighting fixtures, and even a fresh coat of paint can go a long way.

Double Vanities

Now, before you begin redesigning your bathroom, it’s important to keep in mind the necessary plumbing work for your new bathroom design. If you plan on moving the location of your shower and tub or even your bathroom sink, you’ll need to hire a contractor to complete the necessary plumbing work to make these items functional. If you don’t have the budget for this type of work, make sure you keep your new vanity as close to the plumbing lines as possible.
