The Houston Chapter was established and chartered in 1968. It was organized to serve as a medium in the solution of professional problems pertaining to plumbing engineering as it effects the profession, the community and the general public; to advance the general scientific interests of plumbing engineering profession and inculcate the desire for scientific achievement in the field among the members of the Chapter; to bring about greater cooperation and understanding between the members of the Chapter and local plumbing officials, contractors and the public.

Ensuring human comfort, productivity, and safety, while practicing environmental stewardship is the mission of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Our 300 member companies produce more than 90 percent of the residential and commercial air conditioning, heating, water heating, and commercial refrigeration equipment made in North America.

The VLPA (Vermont Licensed Plumbers Association) is a subscriber body of licensed, professional plumbers in Vermont. We serve our subscribership with discounted Continuing Education Unit (CEU) classes and monthly newsletters that keep our members up to date in their trade. As well, the VLPA continues to fight for basic code coverage for all Vermont residents.

The Seattle Pipetrades Education Center is the state approved apprenticeship program for plumbers, steamfitters, housing plumbers, and refrigeration fitters in the King County area.

The center is overseen by a committee of labor (UA Local 32 Plumbers & Steamfitters) and management/employers (MCAWW, Mechanical Contractors Association of Western Washington).

Dedicated to the promotion, advancement, education and training of the industry for the protection of our environment and the health, safety and comfort of society.

Founded in 1898, The New England Plumbing, Gas & Mechanical Inspectors Association is a voluntary organization comprised of Plumbing, Gas, and Mechanical Inspectors in 6 states: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

The organization is devoted to the development and acceptances of uniform regulations and the overall betterment of the industry. Inspectors enforce these rules and regulations, State Laws, and codes in the interest of public safety.

The Minnesota Pipe Trades Association represent nine thousand Plumbers, Pipefitters, Sprinklerfitters, Gasfitters, HVAC and Service Technicians throughout the state of Minnesota. We have members working in all areas of the plumbing, pipefitting, mechanical and fire protection industry, including residential, commercial and institutional facilities.

The Florida Association of Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors, FAPHCC is an organization that is continuously looking for ways to improve our industry through education and communication. It is one that recognizes that the contributions of its members are the sole success of the organization. It is a partnership of industry contractors, manufacturers, wholesalers and industry affiliate members who commit to providing business management tools for the P-H-C Contractors and other Industry Professionals.

The Association of Independent Manufacturers'/Representatives, Inc. (AIM/R) is a trade association of independent sales representatives in the plumbing, HVAC/R, kitchen/bath, waterworks, irrigation and related industries. AIM/R members are the top agencies in the industry.
