Oregon Plumbing License Requirements

Oregon Plumbers License

In the State of Oregon a CCB license is required for anyone who works for compensation in any construction activity involving improvements to real property to be licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB).

This includes roofing, siding, painting, carpentry, concrete, on-site appliance repair, heating and air conditioning, home inspections, tree service, plumbing, electrical, floor covering, manufactured dwelling installations, land development and most other construction and repair services.

In addition to a CCB license, Plumbers and Plumbing Contractors must get an Oregon Plumbing licensed through the Oregon's Building Codes Division (BCD).

Oregon Plumbing Contractors License

The holder of a OR Certificate of "registration to conduct a plumbing business" entitles a person to advertise; furnish labor and material, or labor only; to install; change; and repair plumbing.
