Kansas City, Missouri (PRWEB) February 05, 2013 -- Kansas City based rough plumbing manufacturer, Sioux Chief, announced it has launched the new ProCheck backwater valve designed for both shallow and deep-bury plumbing installations.

ProCheck is unique because it allows plumbing contractors to buy and stock one type of valve which can be adapted for either a shallow or deep-bury application,” said Sioux Chief product group director, Chris Ismert.

Due to its modular design, the ProCheck features many accessories for both 3 inch and 4 inch valves that are interchangeable, enabling contractors to buy and carry fewer items while still having the right parts. The valve lid, access sleeve, sleeve collar, sleeve lid and deep-bury adapter kit all fit both 3 inch and 4 inch valves.

ProCheck’s design also features an integrally molded sealing surface on the face of the flapper, which provides a much better seal than typical O-rings.

“Its over molded design produces a much larger sealing surface, which will not become lost or dislodged after installation, like an o-ring can,” said Ismert.

The ProCheck backwater valve is engineered with specially formulated resins that allow it to take the abuse of a typical ground-rough job site. The product is manufactured by Sioux Chief in the USA.

Sioux Chief products are sold through wholesale plumbing distributors nationwide.
