AUSTIN, TX -- Radiant Plumbing of Austin, Texas is on a mission to save 3 million gallons of water by replacing 1000 leaking flappers for free. The drought of 2011 has reached a critical stage and a running toilet can use as much as 200 gallons per day. Letʼs assume the average is only half that. This would mean that installing 1,000 new flappers on the flush valves of running toilets would save Austin 100,000 gallons of water per day. Thatʼs 3 million gallons per month.
Radiant Plumbing is a small plumbing company with only a dozen trucks, but they are prepared to install 1,000 new flappers on the flush valves of 1,000 Austin toilets because they know how to do it. And it will make a huge difference.
If you suspect that you have a leaking toilet all you have to do is call Radiant, and they will come test your toilet for free. If it is a leaking flapper, it will be replaced for free.
