San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) February 22, 2012 -- With Mountain Cedar allergy season officially finished, the doors are about to open to welcome in Oak allergy season. Champion AC, San Antonio’s most trusted air conditioning company, will highlight Indoor Air Quality to encourage San Antonians to be aware and rid their homes of allergens, contaminants and other airborne bacteria and viruses.
According to Sylvana Research, last year’s oak pollen count raised as high as 16,000 pollen grains per cubic meter. The three allergy seasons saw some of the highest numbers it had in ten years. This year, Mountain Cedar season, which Dr. Paul Ratner described as “intense, but shorter than average,” wrapped up in early February. Typically, the season runs through the month’s end. The city saw its highest cedar count of the season, which runs from December through February, on Jan. 13 at 32,000.
Due to the intense levels of pollen and allergens, Champion AC is especially focused on the importance of clean air in the home and encouraging San Antonio residents to use various resources and tools to enhance Indoor Air Quality.
